Paradisus, is one of the most exquisite Resorts in Punta Cana, in a dreamlike setting, with satin white beaches tracing the Caribbean Sea. Hundreds of coconut palms rustle their sunlit fronds, to a gentle breeze. The entrance is nothing less than magnificent, with slatted walkways leading to raised platforms over lagoons filled with goldfish. Elephant ear plants, islands of feathery palms, great iron sculptures of Taino art, and pillars draped in bougainvillea, create an exotic Polynesian ambiance. The lobby area, under a triangular plantation-style roof has Victorian upholstered chairs mixed with plush comfy couches, tapestry carpets over marble, even swings made from polished carved wood! A circular bar of copper with Indian markings invites one for a cooling refreshment in this tropical Eden. So comfortably elegant, with light classical music drifting through, as sunlight shimmers on ponds.
A pool the size of a lake is surrounded by lush flourishing gardens and an untouched area devoted to the preservation of ecology. There is a dining area by the beach, filled with 8 restaurants called 'The Gastronomical Temple,' and indeed it is! A la carte specialty restaurants with wine lists, and dining rooms with a wonderful buffet selection are proof of the high quality at the Paradisus.
Accommodations: Deluxe suites, beautifully furnished have one king or two twin beds, in-room safe, Satellite TV, mini-bar with water and sodas, iron with ironing board, full bathroom with hairdryer and amenities, balcony. Royal Service also available with Jacuzzi and extra services.
