The Ocean Bavaro is set on the most beautiful beach with vibrant turquoise sea, and gentle breezes rustling through soaring coconut trees. This Resort contains all the essential elements for a delightful vacation, which includes eight restaurants, and one magnificent Spa. Great sprays of bougainvillea adorn the entrance to an open-air lobby in warm colors and colonial furnishings. The botanical gardens flourish with an abundance of flowers and palms, gorgeous lush greenery. Lagoons with flamingos, fountains, and footbridges, flow through the Resort. A large pool faces towards the Caribbean and is steps from the Bahia beach restaurant for buffet breakfast and lunches. At night, it transforms into a specialty, Brazilean a la carte restauran,t with a panoramic view. El Meson and La Mezzaluna gourmet both have romantic settings, and an atmosphere befitting to their themes. The Buccaneer, gives one an outdoor barefoot experience on the beach at wooden tables on the sand, to savor lobster right from the grill (surcharge applies). The Pepito Mexican restaurant in true vibrant decor, serves margaritas as you walk through the door.

Another outstanding feature, is the huge Metamorphosis Spa, with every therapeutic treatment imaginable. (fee). For the healthy-minded exerciser, the gym (included) is in a circular room facing the ocean and beach. Imagine being on a treadmill with that view!
