General Information

Goldeneye in

Goldeneye is nestled among tropical forests and lush gardens on a seaside bluff overlooking the Caribbean where you can put a little distance between yourself and the rest of the world. Our lifestyle is pure Jamaican in rhythm and tempo, easy. We offer you a window to local culture and a different way of living.

Goldeneye is also historic. This is where Ian Fleming crafted all his James Bond novels. What Fleming loved most about Goldeneye was the out of doors, nature, the sounds and colors, the peace and drama of living by the sea. He delighted in the blazing sunshine, natural beauty and the most healthy life I could live.

Goldeneye is 8 minutes from Boscobel (Ocho Rios) Aerodrome, 15 minutes from Ocho Rios and 2 hrs from the Mo-Bay Airport. Goldeneye is a Jamaican retreat built by 'James Bond' novelist Ian Fleming in the 1950's. He spent nearly 20 winters at this idyllic spot and penned 14 of his famous '007' thrillers there. This hideaway is now available as an Island Outpost resort. Goldeneye is truly a magical place, providing simple luxury and casual comfort. The resort is comprised of Fleming's original three-bedroom home along with four villas varying from one to three bedroom units. The entire property is available as one unit, or guests may choose the main house or the individual private villas.
